Bosch acquires JCI/Hitachi residential & light commercial HVAC business for $8B

Summary

Bosch agreed to acquire the global residential and light commercial HVAC business from Johnson Controls, plus 100% of the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture including Hitachi's 40% stake, for $8 billion. It is the biggest acquisition in Bosch history.
