UTC acquired the commercial HVAC sales and service divisions of AHI-Carrier (Australia), a UTC joint venture, to form Carrier Australia under UTC Climate, Controls & Security. The residential, light commercial, and Totaline parts segments were carved out into a new entity, AHIC (Australia), still owned by AHI-Carrier FZC.
