AGC Receives ASHRAE Certification for Low-GWP Refrigerant

AGC Asahi Glass obtained ASHRAE certification for its new low-environmental-impact refrigerant AMOLEA 1224yd, marking the first time a Japanese company has received such approval for a new chemical substance. The company plans to begin commercial production in early 2018.
