ARI and GAMA Merge to Form AHRI

Members of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) voted to approve a merger, forming the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) effective January 1, 2008. The new trade association will represent manufacturers of cooling, heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment and will be headquartered in Arlington, Va.
