ARI and GAMA merge to form AHRI

The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) have approved a merger to create the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), effective January 1, 2008. The new organization will represent manufacturers of HVAC, refrigeration, water heating, and commercial food service equipment.
