ARI and GAMA Merger to Form AHRI

The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) are merging to form the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). The boards voted to move forward in November 2007, with a membership vote pending and a target effective date of January 1, 2008.
