Engineering and construction firm Black & Veatch acquired Bird Electric Enterprises and Bird Electric Properties (part of BASElectric Holdings), a 600+ employee self-perform electrical construction services provider, to expand grid solutions and emergency power restoration. Bird will operate as a Black & Veatch company with founder Brian Bird as president.
