Bosch's BBT Thermotechnik acquires U.S. distributor Controlled Energy Corporation

BBT Thermotechnik, a Bosch Group heating-products manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Controlled Energy Corporation (CEC), a Vermont distributor with $34M in U.S. sales of instantaneous gas water heaters. CEC and Buderus Hydronic Systems were to be merged into a new entity, BBT North America.
