Daikin Industries announced it is acquiring Malaysia-based O.Y.L. Industries Bhd, which owns U.S.-based McQuay International, to enter the North American applied-HVAC market and target the No. 1 global position; O.Y.L. will operate as a consolidated subsidiary of Daikin.
