Deschenes Group to acquire Mueller Flow Control division from Anvil International

Deschenes Group Inc. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the Mueller Flow Control division of Mueller Canada Ltd. from Anvil International L.P. (a Mueller Water Products subsidiary), a wholesale distributor of pipe, valves, HVAC, and waterworks products with 17 Canadian locations. Expected to close early January 2010, subject to regulatory approval.
