Deschenes Group to acquire Mueller Flow Control division from Anvil International (Mueller Water Products)

Deschenes Group Inc. signed an asset purchase agreement to buy the Mueller Flow Control division of Mueller Canada Ltd. from Anvil International L.P., a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products. The carve-out covers a Canadian wholesale distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, waterworks, HVAC and fire-protection products; close expected early January 2010.
