Honeywell replaces CEO Bonsignore with Lawrence Bossidy after blocked GE merger
On the day the GE merger was blocked, Honeywell's board announced CEO Michael Bonsignore's immediate retirement and appointed former AlliedSignal chairman Lawrence A. Bossidy as chairman and CEO, with a mandate to fix or sell the company.
