Ingersoll Rand to merge Industrial segment with Gardner Denver in Reverse Morris Trust

Ingersoll Rand plc announced a definitive agreement to separate its Industrial segment and merge it with Gardner Denver Holdings, Inc. in a Reverse Morris Trust transaction. The deal will result in Ingersoll Rand shareholders owning approximately 50.1% and Gardner Denver shareholders owning approximately 49.9% of the combined company, which will be renamed Ingersoll Rand, Inc.
