Johnson Controls acquires Synchrony (magnetic bearing tech) from Siemens

Johnson Controls acquired Synchrony, a developer of active magnetic bearing technology, from Siemens Gas and Power. The deal, which closed Nov. 1, gives JCI all of Synchrony's products and IP to improve its centrifugal chiller products.
