PNC Equity Partners acquires Bacharach (gas detection equipment)

PNC Equity Partners, a private equity fund managed by an affiliate of PNC Financial Services Group, acquired Bacharach Inc., a leader in the gas detection equipment market, including its affiliate Bacharach of Canada. This was one of the first two investments by PNC Equity Partners II, a $272 million fund.
