Regal Beloit to acquire A.O. Smith's Electrical Products Co. for ~$875M

Regal Beloit agreed to acquire 100% of A.O. Smith's Electrical Products Co., an HVAC and industrial motor manufacturer, for approximately $875 million in cash and stock, its seventh announced acquisition in 2010.
