SPX merges Robinair and ATP under one entity
SPX, parent of ATP, acquired Robinair's parent company; effective January 1, 2002 Robinair and ATP operate together under SPX. This follows SPX's earlier consolidation of Amprobe, TIF, and Promax into ATP. Corporate tool-brand consolidation, not a home-service PE roll-up.
“In June of this year, ATP parent company SPX acquired the parent company of Robinair. As of January 1, 2002, both Robinair and ATP will officially operate together under SPX.”
