Tomkins plc purchases Selkirk Americas

Selkirk Americas, L.C., a manufacturer of venting and air distribution products for commercial and residential HVAC, was purchased by global engineering group Tomkins plc and will operate within Tomkins' Building Products Division. Selkirk had about $130 million in 2005 sales.
