Vertiv to acquire data-center cooling/PDU maker Geist

Vertiv (formerly Emerson Network Power), majority owned by Platinum Equity, reached an agreement to purchase Geist, a manufacturer of Rack Power Distribution Units and data center power/cooling/monitoring products.
