Wolseley plc's Ferguson unit acquired Davidson Pipe Company Inc., a pipes, valves, and fittings distributor serving the New York metropolitan market, marking Ferguson's first entry into the New York City market. Davidson had $125.8 million revenue for the year ended Sept. 30, 2006.
