Buyer Beware: Paid Aladdin/Kilowatt (The SEER Group) $40k for a system. They damaged my property and are now refusing to perform warranty repairs unless I allow office staff to 'monitor' the visit. They are ignoring emails to corporate and blocking technical service. Completely unprofessional and potentially unlawful under CA warranty laws. Filing with the CSLB today. Stay away!

I had an appointment window of 1-3 PM. The serviceman didn't show until after 6:30 PM. So, I wasn't a happy camper about that. But as far as the service itself goes, BEN MACIEL was a very nice, helpful, courteous serviceman. He came to do a yearly servicing of our air conditioning. And whatever he did, I can honestly say I don't remember our air conditioning ever being as cold as it is now, and seeming to reach into areas of the house that it hadn't before. So, I'm very pleased with the servicing itself. Not too much with the scheduling. So I'm giving it 5 stars because of the quality of the service, which is most important, but if there were a separate rating for scheduling, I would give it 1 star.

All - after spending ~$145,000 with Aladdin since Woolsey, as well as ~$800/year in mtce., Aladdin tried to upsell me over $3,000 this month for equipment and service that is new since Woolsey. When I asked for them to check the warranty, they said yes, but never did. They also gave me a quote for $500+ to change a $25 capacitor, which they said was common, but didn't carry spares on their trucks, thus requiring a separate service call! I wrote a letter with all the factual details to the General Manager, however, he never responded. Last, I requested a refund for the second half of my annual service agreement, and they have not yet provided that. Sadly, after many many years of solid support for professional and knowledgeable service technicians from Aladdin, the owner sold the business, and apparently the new owner has a different work ethic.
