    Donovan Heating and Air exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Not only did they replace our AC unit, but they also took the time to inspect the entire system before installation, including the ductwork in the attic. They identified flaws in the AC plenum and ductwork that needed upgrading to ensure the new system would operate efficiently—and they handled those upgrades very effectilly. Our initial meeting with Brandon was very informative and detailed. He carefully explained all available options and answered every question before we made a decision. From the beginning, he inspired confidence and trust. Brandon and his excellent team worked effectively, professionaly, and delivered excellent results. In the end, the AC system is working great, the quote was fair, and the financing options were excellent. I highly recommend Donovan Heating and Air to anyone looking for honesty, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

    I received excellent and responsive service from Donovan from the initial call to check on a leak in our air conditioning unit. They explained that it would be more economical to replace it and I agreed. Because our water heater was aging, we decided to replace this at the same time which was quite an investment for us. I now have mostly positive impressions but also some mixed feelings about our service. I chose Donovan because of their amazing reputation but I have a concern that hasn’t been answered thoroughly, even though I spent a great deal on a new water heater and air conditioning system. (I have not been persistent in addressing this concern) Throughout the process everyone was professional and I was pleased with the service and communication. After everything was installed, on the day of installation, the installer explained that there were two possible places where the filter could be placed. She also told me that the first filter would need changing fairly soon because the system was new. One area was inside the actual unit and the other was in the wall in our dining area which is where we used to place the filter. She explained that it was better to use this area because there was some distance from the unit but after she left, I could not figure out how to put a filter there because there was no longer a frame for it. The grate is still there. As a result, We installed a filter in the other less convenient location and I forgot about it until a contractor came as a part of our annual service contract a few months later. I asked him about the filter and he told me that I would need to install a frame/ grate in order to use the filter on our wall. He explained that this would be an additional cost of approximately $300 and this was not a part of our contract because it wasn’t specifically mentioned when we put in the order. I told him that I didn’t want to pay more. I asked him how the original installer could have explained this in such a misleading manner. His response was ‘inexperience’. He told me to use the other location on the side of the unit. This is inconvenient for us because it is in a storage cupboard and we must enter from our patio and move everything yo get to the filter. I have been thinking about this for several weeks since our maintenance visit. I do not understand the inconsistency in the information we received. I heard exactly what the installer told me and I do not believe that I misunderstood her. The maintenance contractor was friendly, conscientious and professional but I keep thinking about his response to my question. If she was inexperienced, did she install everything correctly? Was everything done in the best, most convenient manner? I chose Donovan because of their quality service and reputation and was aware that I would be paying a premium price but I consider them ‘the best’. I want to close by saying that everything is working well but in all honesty, I do still have this concern in the back of my mind.

    Had a new Carrier AC install on 10/24. Couldn’t be happier with the results; expert install, great unit and an awesome and professional team. Stephan, in sales, guided us through everything needed and thoroughly explained every step. Edrie, Brayden, Dylan, and others I’m forgetting… did an awesome install. System replaced another that was installed on 2019, but wasn’t setup properly or ran like this new one.
